Salak Agro Eco Trekking

Explore the largest Salak plantation on Bali island, the rice field, and the traditional Sibetan village. The village still keeps a good environment and develops a sustainable local culture and a self-help farming system based on the natural ecosystem. Approximately 2-3 hours of trekking to the Salak plantation and interacting with the locals to visit their houses with the daily activities, including the traditional wine process.

09.00    Walk into the rice fields, depending on the season, sometimes there is the possibility to interact with the farmer while caring for, plowing, or harvesting on the plantation. Explore the largest Salak plantations and traditional villages at Sibetan village in the east Bali island. Harvest and taste the Salak fruits from the tree. Also, see the traditional wine-making process. During the trek, the local community will be presented with a young, fresh coconut to freshen stamina.

13.00    A typical lunch will be presented at a local restaurant.

14.00    Return transfer to the hotel
